Let’s Take a Walk

Please join me on a walk. We’ll see some lovely flowers and breathe the sweet cool air of late summer in Laramie. Let’s enjoy the flowers and the green leaves while we can - by this time next month, the leaves will be falling and the flowers that aren’t frost hardy will be wilting.

You will need to beware of snapdragons, though!

We can stop and rest a while here.

This rose is from my own garden. The last few hail storms have battered its leaves, but it still blooms proudly.

Thank  you for joining me on my walk.

My goodness! Your local planter beds are just magnificent. Since the drought a lot of ours have been replaced with native grasses and plants. These are a sight for sore eyes.

This was a lovely walk. And I agree with Heather, your planters are gorgeous. And I love your little rose, too, battered leaves and all.

These are lovely. That rose is a hardy survivor!

I am full of admiration for the local parks which manage to surprise and delight all year round and these are no exception.

What a beautiful walk and the rose is magnificient. Great pictures

Delightful images. I especially love that single red rose…gorgeous.

Thanks for inviting us on this beautiful walk, Jane. Can we have a picnic now? :)

Beautiful! Send some of the cool air my way. We are sweltering!

These images are just divine!! They look exactly like altars or shrines!!

Thanks for the lovely garden walk! For a moment, I forgot where I was!
