Here at 7200 feet in altitude, April showers usually take a cold white form. We woke up this morning to a good eight inches of heavy wet spring snow. I went out about 6:15 and took some pictures.

Oooh, beautiful! Just like Christmas card scenes, but so late in the year. What happened to spring? I think it lost its way to so many places.

OMG! That is SPRING snow? What is winter snow like?! It is beautiful and serene, though.

How gorgeous! We didn’t have a heavy snowfall this winter. That lovely blue cast to the snow always makes me gasp. April–wow.

This is Spring? The photos are lovely and I like the way they came out with the bluish hue. It gives a “cloudy sky” kind of look that many of us elsewhere are experiencing with rain

The truck’s great zig-zag snow slides speak of the heavy, wet snows that come in April. Just when you think Winter is over. . . .

I love the blue cast that snow has when the light is low.
