Let’s Take a Walk

Please join me on a walk. We’ll see some lovely flowers and breathe the sweet cool air of late summer in Laramie. Let’s enjoy the flowers and the green leaves while we can – by this time next month, the leaves will be falling and the flowers that aren’t frost hardy will be wilting.

You will need to beware of snapdragons, though!

We can stop and rest a while here.

This rose is from my own garden. The last few hail storms have battered its leaves, but it still blooms proudly.

Thank  you for joining me on my walk.

Flowers on Campus

The gardens and flower beds on the University of Wyoming campus are spectacular right now. I went around at lunch one day this past week and took pictures of some of my favorite spots:

It was hard to choose which pictures to use. I love taking pictures of the flowers.
